i think the most useful tool is the ability to flag questions and use the review option to get overview of your test and also the reminder of whether or not we have unanswered questions, this deters careless errors overall i think some of the tools are extremely pointless and have no relevance to the test and are utterly nonsensical among these there is the ability to change colors there is the magnifier which might be slightly useful, the line reader which is just a waste of space along with other features such as answer masker which i simply did not get.

sorry the second part of that was kind of harsh

Some of the resources that are helpful are scrap paper on the side and a pencil to jot down notes whether it be language arts or geometry because in math, it would be helpful to work out some problems that cannot be done mentally and for language arts, it could help eliminate options in multiple choice that do not apply and writing down which lines to refer to when writing the essay on a piece of paper would be helpful so you don't have to search too much when trying to find information.

I think a scientific calculator and a compass maker would benefit in the math section, becuase solving the triginomtric problems or advanced math would need a calculator and a compass would be used in proofs or constructions. In english, a highlight tool would be the most beneficial becuase it would be easier to see and use the important evidence.

i think the review screen is a nice feature so you can go back to your flagged and unanswered questions in the end. also the answer eliminator and highlighter are great tools as well.

For language arts, the most useful tool is the ability to highlight the text so that you can look back on the quotes that would aid in answering multiple choice questions and literary analysis essays. For math, the graphing calculator helps in graphing, solving, and simply computing numbers, which does help manage time more efficiently.

In the math the most important tools are probably the graphing calculator and the scrap paper. Mostly all the math is paper and pencil not mental which is why the scrap paper is needed. For trigonometry we need a calculator, because as determined in class we cannot solve it on paper. In ELA the most important tool is probably the highlighter, because many students read the questions beforehand. The highlighter helps to point out main areas and locate where some of the answers are in the reading. However, not all questions are going to be easy, so the opportunity to skip and flag problems is helpful.

I think the most important tools would be the graphing calculator because it has many functions such solving simple arithmetic, graphing linear and non linear functions and solving trig problems. I also think the compass would be useful. Overall, any geometry related tools would be useful for the math PARCC.

I think the most useful tool in language arts is the most useful tools are the highlighting tool to highlight key quotes to use in your essays and the answer eliminator which puts a big, red X on the answer choice that you don't think is correct. The most useful math tool would be the graphing calculator because you can perform almost all the different types of questions you want to solve.

The highlighter would be useful for language arts as it can easily mark key phrases, words, or sentences. The graphing calculator and scrap would be useful for the mathematics since you can keep notes, ideas down and the graphing calculator is necessary for trig and calculations

The graphing calculator would be helpful in geometry for answering questions that can't be solved mentally and the highlighter would be helpful in ELA to highlight quotes or supporting evidence from the text. Being able to flag questions would be useful in both sections.

I think the most useful feature for both tests is the "Flag Question" tool. This allows one to remember which problems and questions have to be rechecked and/or completed. It's really helpful for people who like to do the easy questions first and then focus on the more difficult questions.

For geometry I think it would be the ability to eliminate answers because sometimes you doubt yourself when coming up with answers so it is easier to pick out answers closest to what you got. (Now that I think about it, this tool can be extremely beneficial for the ELA portion of the test as well, so overall, the answer eliminator is the best tool for both Geo. and ELA.

The most useful tools in the PARCC test is the calculator and the highlighter. The calculator make it much easier to solve trigonometry problems because of all the ratios. The highlighter will be mostly used on the English test for highlighting key points which can come in handy for the multiple choice questions.

Some tools that would be useful on the PARCC test for math are a calculator and scrap paper. you would need to calculator to easily multiply, divide, subtract, and add big numbers on the test. Scrap paper would be useful when you need to do work on paper since you can't really work on the computer. For example, if you are solving an equation, it would be much simpler and less time-consuming to do your work on paper rather than on the computer.

I think the most useful part of the PARCC is the ability to flag questions so you can come back to them from other questions.

I believe the most useful tool in the Geometry part of the PARCC is the graphing calculator. The graphing calculator will help in Trigonometry problems, since it is impossible to compute them in any other way. Additionally, for ELA, the most useful tool would be the highlighter as it would allow for us to highlight the text needed to write. Both these tools are very beneficial and will help greatly in the PARCC.

I feel that the graphing calculator is the most important tool in PARCC. The reason is that, unlike useful tools like scrap paper, a calculator is simply mandatory to complete the trigonometry questions.

Sorry I accidentally pressed enter. Being able to use a calculator and do sin, cos, and tan is important as on the practice test there are many such problems.

In both ELA and Math, flagging questions is helpful as well as the screen that shows you if you've missed questions.

I think the graphing calculator is the best tool as it simplifies the solving process in the complicated parcc. Comments are closed.
